Members are marketing firms, hosting companies and programmers who use OpenEdit and have clients who use OpenEdit.
Pricing
There is no cost to being a member of the OpenEdit Group. As a partner you get:
- Dedicated Web Server - As a partners you have full control of how your server is setup. You can log into any of your client sites using FTP.
- Site Creation Wizard - Use our online tools to setup temporary domains such as http://cliientname.partnerdomain.com used until the real domain is ready.
- Free Web Hosting - Use OpenEdit for any development sites you are working on
Expert Technical Support
The OpenEdit Group employs a team of knowledgable technical staff. The staff includes Linux system administrators, Java programmers and technical support.The group is headed by Christopher Burkey who is the main developer of OpenEdit.
Out support staff monitor the systems to sure everything is running smoothly. If there is a complex problem our level two programmers can fix it. Because we are the creators of OpenEdit we can easily add features that are needed by partners or clients.
Our servers are dual CPU systems with 3 gigs of memory. We offer redundant disk drives and online backups. The hardware is hosted in Houston Texas along with 30,000 servers with over 25 Gigabits of Internet bandwidth.
